Level Headed Tincture has been intended for breastfeeding women who are experiencing mild to moderate mood dysregulation - anxiety & depression - due to the fluctuations of hormones after childbirth.  If anxiety and depression were present before pregnancy and birth and you were taking pharmaceuticals, it is recommended that you return to see your prescribing healthcare professional. If there are thoughts of suicide or harming others, please seek immediate attention at an emergency room or with your primary healthcare professional.

Level Headed Tincture contains four herbs which will support your body as your hormones return to balance.  All herbs in this formula are NON GMO and organic.  They are considered safe for use during breastfeeding and should not impact breastfeeding or milk supply. However, your body is unique and you may respond differently than others. Tinctures do contain alcohol and when taken as suggested, will not influence your blood levels or harm your baby. It is equivalent to drinking one glass of wine over a two week period.  Caution is offered to those who do have an addiction to alcohol. Do NOT use during pregnancy.

What are the benefits of herbal tinctures versus herbal teas?

Tinctures are potent. Tinctures are easily assimilated by the body and offer a stronger concentration of medicinal properties than dried herbs or teas.

- Tinctures are quick and convenient. They are easy to store, easy to take along with you, and easy to ingest. A few drops of a tincture in a glass of water or tea, or just on the tongue, takes only a second.

- Tinctures are long-lasting. Tinctures have a much longer shelf life than fresh or dried herbs or teas.
